Coffee Clatch

My neighbor Kristin came over for what has sort of become our own little coffee clatch morning the other day- I made the lattes and she made this super yummy coffee cake to go with. It was still warm and all fall-y-apart-y when we sliced into it.....mmmmmmm! Had to share- she gave the recipe below- try it- you won't be dissappointed!

Here is the Bisquick Coffee Cake recipe:

2 cups Bisquick mix
2/3 milk or water
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg

Streusel topping
1/3 cup Bisquick mix
1/3 packed brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp firm butter or margarine

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix cake ingredients until blended, and pour into greased 9” pan. Stir together streusel topping, cut in butter sprinkle over the top. Bake 18-22 minutes until golden brown.

I added marionberries to the cake after I put it in the pan, and just gave it a twist with a knife to make them dance together a little, and then poured the streusel over the top. (This ups the baking time another 5 to 10 minutes.)
