Boudoir Beauty

I know I've said this before- but I just love shooting boudoir sessions! 

There is something so darned fun about playing grown-up dress up- and helping to channel someone's inner siren.  I have women who come to me wanting to look a certain way- but really unsure of how to achieve that look..... and after we're done- they just walk different- taller- with more confidence- all because I've been able to show them- on camera- what the rest of the world sees- and it's absolutely gorgeous!!!

This beauty chooses to remain anonymous... so I can only share a peek... but be assured- the rest are stunning!

Happy New Year! 

Heck it's almost Happy Valentine's...... and speaking of Valentine's....  this is going to be on heck of a gift....

I was SO excited to get to work (it was a whole lot of laughing and playing.. hard to call it work...) with Gwen again yesterday!!!    I met her and her hubby last summer for their "We-Did" session at Edmonds Beach.

We decided to road test my newly redecorated boudoir/master suite that I spent all day painting on Friday and added the finishing touches  to after work on Saturday.. we rather liked it- it's sort of Paris meets Montego Bay... it's fresh and feels like a vacation.  And of course with smokin' hot looks and legs like Gwen's... it was sure to be a hit!  We got some very saucy shots.... I'm pretty sure her hubby may have to receive medical attention when he receives these for Valentine's day.... so ssshhhhhhhh!  Keep it on the DL!

I do so love a great pin-up session! And last night was certainly no exception!

Gaetana is an East Coast Italian girl with all the classic good looks of the starlets of days gone by and the higher education to be envied by most in any decade.... she smart, sophisticated and talented.... and did I mention- absolutely gorgeous????

G has the looks and the persona of the Italian Divas of eras gone by... Sophia Loren, Gina Lolabridgita, Giancarlo Giannini, and even some of the more recent actresses....Isabella Rossalini, Tea Leone.... the list goes on.... but what never goes out style is elegance... and whether that is fully clothed- down to the hat and gloves... or next to nothing- elegance and confidence- is what what sensual is all about.

G- I had the most amazing time with you- can't wait to work with you again. :) xoox D

The Things We Do For Love.....

ohhhh.... the things we do for love...... Jesse is a guy's guy- and not big on having his picture taken- and he's not particularly a big fan of the water, getting wet, or sand... let alone lay down in it! But he sure loves his girl Gwen.... and so he did. And we love him for that!

This is a "We Did" session, shot last night at Edmonds Beach, on what turned out to be a glorious evening. They got married earlier this year in a quiet and private ceremony- and now that weather is better- they decided it was time to get some pix done.

My girl H says that she's more Jenny Mc Carthy than Marilyn Monroe.... but I beg to differ..... I think she rocked the glam old skool beauty thing quite well..... Happy Anniversary Mr. President......

I WISH....... I could share more from Friday's pin-up session (there are soooo many to choose from).... 'cause they are Go-rg-eous.......... but this will have to tide you all over... a crazy sexy pair of uber long legs- great shoes- and a body that is amazingly well toned..... and all of her hard work at the gym- shows!

Hello Hot Stuff!

"Happy Birthday dear" just doesn't seem to cut it when you are presenting your husband with these..... I have known Alicia forever and ever- so I was totally excited when she told me that she was finally ready to do pin-up pix!!!

She is the embodiment of what a few years of wisdom and confidence looks like- and it looks HOT!

(And I'm certain he'll say that his jeep- has never looked so good.....)

Now Alicia will be the first one to tell you that she's nervous about this or doesn't like that about herself.... but after coming to peek over my shoulder today to see what we got...... she's relieved and pleasantly surprised..... her ideas and my vision came together beautifully- even if it wasn't totally what she saw in her head originally.

We had lots of fun and loads of giggles yesterday & I had the best assistants a girl could ask for- Thank you Christy and Daffney!!! And Alicia- love ya girl- thanks for choosing me!

So as the sun sets on another day...... walk tall, with a little swing in your step... and think, "hmmmm.... I wonder what I look like in someone else's eyes???"

Then call me and say, "D-It's time.... let's go play!" :)

A Valentine's gift he'll never forget...

I love a lady who plans ahead.... and Holy guacamole is her husband going to be surprised!

I met with Miss M on Sunday for some pin-up fun to send to her husband who is currently serving overseas in a very hot and sandy place.....

When I asked how long he'd been out of country her answer was 7 months.... and when I asked how long they had been married- her answer was 7 months..... wow- can you imagine having to let your hubby go during the time that should be your honeymoon???? Talk about sacrifice! ( A big thank you goes out to this family- and to all the other military families who make this kind of sacrifice to keep the world a safer place!!!!)

And thank you to Miss D, who I'm sure you'll remember as Mrs. Clause in my December posts... who came up to hang out and be my assistant for this shoot! What a fun day!
SO.... I think it will go without saying- that these photos will I'm sure be instrumental in his wanting to get home and pick up where he left off with his new bride! :) Miss M- best of luck to you both! Thanks for coming to play with me!
