I absolutely can not believe that Brayden is 3 already!!!!!!

We decided to do something different to celebrate this event.....

His pretty momma and I have had this shoot in mind since before he was born and the other night was the PERFECT time to make it happen!

{there were ice cream cones involved in the making of this cuteness, but no M&M's were harmed}

The Bug Life...

You've heard of the Thug Life.... but have you heard of the Bug Life???? 

If not- you will....

My friend John is taking leap of fun and faith and making a total career switch and launching two business at once!  One as a fly fishing guide in places unknown - the other as mogul of a hip-fun-trendy punch at fashionistas with his line of accessories and apparel aimed at the 40-somethings  who live, eat and breathe fly fishing and the great outdoors.

Of course boys and their toys would not be complete without cigars, beverages and smoking hot bikini models.... and we had all three!  Miss Crystal was a total rock star- climbing, bending, contorting as directed... it was a hilarious adventure. 

**You know- you always seem to think you're pretty alone and  remote on some shoots and as soon as someone loses their apparel- traffic comes out of the woodwork... but she totally took it in stride and we just kept on shooting!**

Happy Spring everyone!!!!  I know- it's been a whole month since I've checked in- and I have had so much to blog about and do- and not enough time to do it in!  So I am playing catch-up- and rather backwards I might add......  so stay tuned- spring is booked extremely full- so lots of photos will be coming your way soon!

I had a change in my schedule this weekend (no basketball tournament after all) so I had some time open up to grab some shots of a couple of my favorite boys....and even tho the weather wasn't the greatest...  we still had a ball!  I showed Michael some cool parts of town and he showed me some mad skills on his long board. 

Baby brother Brayden was chillin' (aka napping) through his big brother's exhibition- but he woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed for a few shots with one of his favorite people.

Spring is filling up fast so call and catch your spot for Spring and Summer sessions...  The baby chix session next weekend is FULL, and I will be putting on a few more themed sessions for the little ones as the summer progresses.... garden fairies and teddy bear tea party will be amongst them as well as a trip to the Jetty again (back by very popular demand!!!).



The Boys are back!

I am one lucky girl....  I am- really truly!  Not only did I get to hang out with friends and family and chase all over to sporting events- I got to play and snuggle with some super duper cute babies and their families this weekend! 

My adorable little neighbor baby (who thinks my two girls are the coolest thing since sliced bread and follows them around and wants to play with them from sun up to sun down.)  She's a built in baby doll to them- so it's a mutual adoration.  And makes me giggle that she just comes right in- pulls up the stool at the island in my kitchen and chats or has a bite of whatever we're fixing.  I love that our friends are so comfortable in our home.

Brothers Brayden and Michael popped in with their folks to see me for some holiday studio shots ( we were originally going to go and find some snow- but Brayden has been sick this week- so we just hung close to home.)  And I think both boys have grown just since we shot on Halloween!!!!  And they  both are just so stinking handsome!  Those blue eyes are crazy cool!  I love, love, love that I get to follow my client families- who have become great friends as they grow.

 Oh- and by the way- Gerber and GAP- I have your next models right here in greater Lake Stevens... just sayin.....

I'm sure you'll remember Sophie and Evan from a few weeks ago at St. Edward's Park in Juanita.... those lashes for days and flawless skin are a magic combo!!!! They are a hair from being done! Enjoy! xoxo D
