P-fam Fun in the Seattle Rain

Rain, rain, go away.... come again another day.....

Whatevah...... we made the most of the rain this day!

The family that plays together..... stays together!

I adore photographing and spending time with the P-fam.

I love the way they love on each other.

I love how gentle Mason is to his little brother Grant.

I love how Grant looks with adoration at his big brother Mason.

They are all so effortlessly and classically beautiful to look at... 

and just so easy to be around and THAT makes them even more beautiful!

I can't wait until our Fall session... it's already planned....

Puddles and Petals

How can you go wrong with froggy boots and enormous size mud puddles?

We don't think you can!

Allie and Brayden invited me to join their trip to the Tulip festival last month

and I taught Brayden how to get the most splash for the buck (sorry mom...)

Sister Allie was not a fan of the splashing but she did love the pretty petals... so 

the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival has a little something for everyone!

If you've never been- seriously- make a plan to go next year-

it's a big fun and lots of color in a small town.  

You should see it at least once in your life.... and some of us love it so much we go every year!

Singing in the rain..... ok- how about shivering in the rain????

Welcome to Washington State... when you have the weather- you don't have the fall color... and vice versa.

We had been waiting for the fall color- and then for a number of reasons we had to keep re-scheduling a number of times, but we finally got to meet up and snap some shots of  my beautiful friend Lucy and her handsome boys.

They were very good sports, considering how cold we were!

Brian & Gina's big day

Months and months go into planning of the perfect wedding day... and in Seattle you pray that you won't have to use the contingency plan if it rains....  But sometimes.... you just have to go with it.  Rain was an understatement for Gina and Brian's big day!  Sideways rain and wind however,  was not.....under any circumstance going to clear for us.... so we just had to roll with it. 

Gina and Brian are so sweet and easy going that they weren't going to let anything stand in the way of having fun on their day!  You may remember this gorgeous couple from last fall.....

And they totally get the rock-star of the year awards for braving the elements for their photos- they rocked a beautiful wedding Seattle style- I love this couple and can't wait to play with them again!  Congrats guys!!!!  xoox Didi V.
