This was one cool cat.  

Totally adorable and he traveled with his own security detail! 

We worked at his place on a Chilly fall morning and even pulled in his gorgeous family

for a relaxed in home family lifestyle session....

{...Which I totally LOVED!} 

His big sis A.V. made a dreamy guest appearance... 

AND....I had some AMAZING newborn props made for the studio by my girl Tracy B

and Hendrix was the first to road test them for us.

The new kid on the block...

Meet Scotty.... He's new in town.  This handsome, tiny little man had a newborn appointment tentatively set with me for this week- but decided to come a few weeks early so I popped over to their place instead to meet him and his gorgeous big sister Lizzie. 

Lizzie was a great tour guide but she was very busy, so I mostly hung out with Scotty.... who slept like a rock the entire session- which is so rare and it made for sweet snugly images.

I feel so lucky and honored to be a part of my client family's lives....  and to help them book mark their lives.

Wild Man Cody

Big Boy Brayden

My boy Brayden stopped in to see me and snap a quick mini-session in what's left of the fall color this weekend. 

OMG!  He's soooo big now! He's walking and talking like a toddler!!!  No more baby snuggles- he's too busy now.... no time for hanging on to us grown-ups.

{I do love this age- just makes me sad that they don't need us quite as much as they did 6 months ago... sniff-sniff....}

(and pretty soon- he can show his new brother or sister the ropes on how to take pix w/ Miss Didi.... 

Eeeeeeekkkkkkkk!  So excited for a nother gorgeous blue eyed baby!)

First Year

Everyone always says,  "time just flies" but when you look at that from the last 6 months in the life of one of my favorite little babies... you can really see the changes that such a short time can bring....  I was just playing around as I finished his holiday set and I'm gearing up for his Valentine set with his pretty momma.... so stay tuned.

I have also acquired some cool new props for new babies in the garage studios.... so stay tuned for that as well.  Now- bring on the New Year and all the new babies!!!!!

Holy Cuteness!!!

Brayen popped in to see me on Sunday... man has he changed- so big boy already! His pretty mommy and I have been trying to pull off some fall shots of him for weeks- but this wack-a-doodle weather has kept the lid on our plans for greatness. But we managed a sunny afternoon and a baby who was in a good mood and we got magic. :) Love it when a plan comes together!

Kam's Fam

Look who's a big boy already!?!?!?

I can't believe that baby Kameron is 10 months already! He was just a brand new little peanut when I saw him for his newborn pix! He's active and all boy- if it's a rock or a stick or sand- he wants it- and he's not far from being able to get up and get it all by himself!

Kam and his handsome family met me yesterday at Edmonds beach- despite weather forecasts that were less than desirable.... and we were certain that the weather needed some medication because it was ALLLLLL OOOOVVVEEERRR the place- huge wind gust and spitting rain and then crazy big bright sunshine and then back to blustery..... it was crazy- but the rain held off and we were able to get our session shot! And the end result was what we were after- relaxed, playful and real.

And as I was reminded- (as if from above) yesterday......'Go sit on the beach and soak it in'- take the hint that we just need to rest, restore, breathe and just *be*... We are so fortunate to live here- we are surrounded by some of the most scenic and easily accessible places here in Washington- get out there and enjoy some of it! xoox Didi~
