My girl "P" is growing so fast!  I was so excited when she came to see me for her 6 month shots.  She was a total rock star- we kept on shooting even tho it was sprinkling rain and 76 degrees and she worked it- like a BOSS!

 

Allie

Allie is a chip off the old block as they say.... she's gorgeous and smart, just like her big brothers and her folks couldn't be more smitten... It's easy to see why- she's a sweet heart!

This session was just about her tho- as she welcomed in Spring!

"Gabbi-Fabulous"

"Gabbi-Fabulous" It's a title we'd give any outfit our youngest daughter Gabrielle would come up with as a toddler because she has always L-to the, O.V.E. 'd to play dress up and usually the more sparkles and accessories....the better.... There is a steady stream of hilarious photos in our family scrapbooks as proof of this. 

Now that she's 10, tho- and always crazy busy with sports... it's more athletic apparel than anything else so it's a rare treat when we get to see her dressed up- weather it's for an event or to go and play with me and take photos.

She also has a knack for really rockin those old WWI & II era looks.  Hard to believe that this demure looking vintage lady is one of the more feared softball pitchers in the league!  Just one more thing that makes her so cool I guess....

"In the Mood.... oh joy!"

Ba da-da-dat dat duh duh da duh de de duh..... can't you just hear Benny Goodman and his orchestra playing "In the Mood"????  Or the Andrews Sisters with "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy"?

We did a little vintage nod with Tommy and Ilene as part of their 20 year anniversary and it was scream!

She loves the vintage look and he was a career Navy man- so this was the perfect combo!

We had the fabulous L. Sam Samano on hair and make-up and my girl Fi-Fi on props- add some Absolute wild tea and lemonade and a gorgeous evening.... magic!

Crazy * Silly * Fun

There are some families for which mere words simply cannot describe how very funny they are- and this family is one of those families.  I absolutely love Beth, Denny and their gorgeous kids.  Denny's pretty sister Leanne was along on this trip also- and like I said- my sides hurt from laughing.... A rare combo to be this beautiful and this funny!

Murder Mystery Party

Mysterious deaths, bitter divorces, quickie marriages, crime bosses, short skirts, some cocktails and lots and lots of feathers.......and that was all before 9pm!

Our dear friends John & Allison hosted a "Murder Mystery" dinner party- and converted their basement- in the the Four Deuces Speakeasy. They made sure every detail was perfect-

I played Carrie Crooner-Ravioli the climber Caberet singer who had slept her way to the top....and yes- I did sing- I hear I did great- will have to see the video for myself tho... been over 10 years since I've sung for any kind of event! And in between songs, solving the mystery and trying not to get myself killed off...... I was shooting photos!

There were prizes for best costumes, best actor, most money won, etc.....

We all had sooooooo much fun! I aged the photos to match the mood- love real, old vintage sepia-tone photos and tried to get that feel with these.

Everyone looked so great Saturday- we all shopped well!

Believe it or not- I let Onika take this shot of me (yes- I just handed over my brand new camera to my 9 year old....around her neck- yes-) and she did a great job!

Here my handsome man tries to look bad...... he's too cute to look mean!
