Alex at the Arboretum

Ahhhhh...... summer.....

Bare feet on the soft grass, warm sunshine, gentle breeze in the trees... really- does it get any better? Only if you add a heaping spoonful of cuteness and a pinch of family fun!

I had the pleasure of working with baby Alex again yesterday at the Evergreen Arboretum in Everett's Marina/waterfront district. He's a big boy now- he's turned 1 and is crawling and cruising up a storm! He's a busy boy for sure! This time, I got to meet his handsome daddy and pretty Aunti who's visiting from back east- and it's easy to see where his mommy gets that amazing smile- because both mommy and Anti have these amazing million mega watt smiles- pretty family for sure!!!!

It was a pleasure to hang out with this super cool and relaxed bunch- roll around in the soft grass, play with their dogs and laugh and drink in the cuteness that is Alex!

Thanks for coming to play with me guys! xoxo Didi

*need I say more about daddies and sweet moments with their babies???*

*'the girls'..... Pretty & Ansel*

*there was much to explore yesterday*
*and appearantly we'd worn him out.. because when mommy and Aunti brought out his favorite book and softee baby.... he was all done... so it was "a wrap" as they say!*
*daddy had alread taken Alex's lead while waiting patiently with the girls*

*this gorgeous entry was the perfect spot of some snaps of the pretty sisters and sweet boy Alex*

Adorable Alex

Wow! Where did the weekend go???? It was a two day bonanza of baby sessions, birthday parties, birthday cakes, fun surprise drop in company that evolved into a mini party and sports banquets. 48 hours goes like 45 minutes when you run crazy like we do here in this house!

I had the pleasure of meeting sweet boy Alex and his momma Kristen yesterday. (Alex is the "boyfriend" of sweet baby Adi and one of these days- we'll get all that cuteness together in one photo!)

We had a fun time playing and chatting- momma Kristen was creative & fun and brought great toys and distractions for Alex- (I was too distracted with those amazing eyes and beautiful creamy baby skin to think of boy props- so I'm super glad she came prepared! )

Thanks for coming to play with me guys- can't wait for our next session together! xoox D

Bluest eyes I've ever seen......

This a senior photo from a few years ago.... and I've known this girl- (who is now a gorgeous woman) and her family, for most of her young life.

And NOW- I get to photograph her wedding this weekend!!!! I'm so excited!!!!! (and so sad... this means irrevocably- that I'm getting old..... sniff-sniff.....)

I went back to peek at her photos so I could map the topography of her face- remember what features I want to showcase... research- it's the benefit to following families over the years. :)

And once again- I know you're all shocked to hear me say this... but it's those eyes- and those freckles- on porcelain skin and silken hair..... she's gonna make a stunning bride!

So- stay tuned for the barrage of photos from this weekends travels.

'Til then- TTFN xoox Didi

Those eyes

I know I've said this before- but this family has a collection of the MOST amazing eye colors-ever!
To say that they have blue eyes... is just.......so generic. How about, sea-glass, green, slate, turquoise, cornflower, denim, cloud, azure, cyan, indigo, steel, ice, grey, silver, sapphire, cobalt.....I just love eyes in general- on almost all of my photos- It's all about the eyes.... the window to the soul..... the color and texture, the sparkle, the laugh lines....
I babble too much some days.......(anyhoo.....you'll happy to know guys- your pix are finished!!!! Yeah! :)
