Time Flies...

Sisters Grace and Gillian met up with me in the rain at the Evergreen Arboretum a couple of weeks ago.

We didn't manage any sun- but it did finally stop raining for just long enough that we could get out from under the cover of the gazebo! 

I can't believe how fast the time is flying by since the last time I shot them together....

It's a good reminder to make the time to have custom portraits commissioned of your family because at this age- three years is a lifetime of growth.....

H-Fam fun

The H-fam is crazy in love with their boy Jax and it's easy to see why.

My gorgeous friend Lucy and her handsome boys came to hang out with me on two different occasions recently and we had such fun and dynamic color both days- one in the early morning fog and one in the last slivers of daylight.  I love that my client families trust my crazy visions for location 

{read here... ratty old abandoned buildings and empty lots) 

and can still bring their own brand of beauty to each session.... even if it means missing some prime NFL action on a Sunday morning.

I love hanging with the H-fam because we live such crazy  parallel sports fueled lives.  

We catch each other's games when we can and our wine and dinner conversations are always sports dominated.... and it's such a comfortable fit.  I'm sure that many of our family friends think that we are obsessive about the sports talk- for that I'm sorry... but there's no apologies needed in this group!

Miss Mary's family

My gorgeous friend Brehani  asked me to meet me her on the Eastside when she was in town last month to capture some photos of her with her siblings and lovely momma, Miss Mary.

 

Miss Mary's sweet smile and sparkling eyes made my camera love her.....

She is blessed with four great children and 3 beautiful grandchildren and they all share her love of sports.

 

The years may be stealing some of her memories- but certainly not her beauty.

It was an honor to spend a sunny morning with your family Miss Mary!

P-Fam fun!

I am always so happy to get an e-mail from my repeat clients to tell me that it's time to meet up and capture their rapidly changing family... and the P-family recently did just that!

 

I have to admit that I have a bit of a crush on this family- they are gorgeous to look at.... but it's more than that...... they are  just so easy and laid back and their photographic out-take moments make me smile because that's just life- and it's beautiful.

And I love watching this family grow up....

{those Porter boys have eyes that can just melt your soul}
